Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join a dynamic construction materials company in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting decision-making processes to drive operational success. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate across functions, ensuring accuracy and delivering valuable insights to senior management.

Job Responsibility:

Analyze regional financial performance and provide actionable recommendations for improvement
Assist with financial planning activities, including monthly forecasts and long-term strategic plans
Prepare and present detailed reports comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets, offering insights to the management team
Conduct cost accounting and financial modeling to support decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data
Perform reconciliations and maintain sub-ledger accuracy, including work-in-process schedules
Evaluate complex financial scenarios to identify business drivers and potential value creation opportunities
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements, ensuring timely submissions
Participate in special financial projects and analyses as directed by senior leadership
Represent the finance department in cross-regional initiatives and projects

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
At least 7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in manufacturing or construction materials
Strong proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP platforms
Expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, auditing, and billing functions
Advanced skills in financial modeling and quantitative analysis
Experience with cost accounting and financial planning processes
Familiarity with tools such as SAP, ADP, BlackLine, and Concur
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams
