Job Description:

We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Campbellsville, Kentucky. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our accounting department, analyze accounting data, and produce comprehensive financial reports. You will enforce accounting methods, policies, and principles, and play a crucial role in the development of reporting standards and documentation of internal controls.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate all accounting activities performed by the team
Analyze and revise accounting processes to optimize resource use
Develop and maintain reporting standards, documenting internal controls
Understand the potential Net Asset Value (NAV) implications of all aged reconciliation items, identify areas of risk and escalate as necessary
Assist in the monthly and quarterly close process, liaising with other functional areas as needed
Research transactions within the general ledger
Develop financial reports and analyses for management review, and participate in budget preparation
Ensure all errors on funds or reconciliations are identified, resolved in a timely manner, and communicated to the relevant stakeholder
Establish and maintain high standard relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure cost-effective and favorable services
Implement education and training activities for subordinates to enhance their knowledge and skills
Participate in company US GAAP audits
Carry out any other task as assigned by upper management

Requirements:

Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
Ability to handle various Accounting Functions efficiently
Experience in the Manufacturing sector is desirable
Knowledge of Manufacturing Cost Accounting would be great
Comfortable working in a Manufacturing Environment
Skilled in Inventory Accounting
Must have experience in Cost Accounting
Able to efficiently handle Month End Close procedures
Proven track record in Accounting Management
Must have experience in Full Cycle Accounting

Nice to have:

Experience in the Manufacturing sector
Knowledge of Manufacturing Cost Accounting
