Accounting Manager/Supervisor

• Lead, mentor, and evaluate the loan accounting team to ensure their growth and optimal performance
• Develop succession planning strategies and provide leadership training tailored to individual career goals
• Collaborate with departments such as Lending, Risk, Finance, and Compliance to align initiatives and achieve organizational objectives
• Manage and assign key loan accounting tasks, including maintaining loan accounting queues, verifying disbursements, processing loan modifications, and reconciling accounts
• Review and refine departmental policies, procedures, and workflows to maximize efficiency and accuracy
• Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard financial integrity and mitigate risks
• Promote the use of advanced software platforms to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience
• Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards
• Monitor industry trends and adapt department processes to align with best practices
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding loan accounting operations and business development opportunities

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on loan accounting or related functions
• Expertise in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and account reconciliation
• Strong knowledge of financial statement audits, journal entries, and accounting regulations
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to process improvement
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work across departments
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while meeting deadlines

Familiarity with agricultural industry accounting practices is a plus
