Job Description:

This role primarily revolves around leading special projects, which includes introducing new general ledger systems, implementing novel accounting procedures, analyzing data, and enhancing system operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the implementation of new general ledger systems
  • Develop and put into action new accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and guarantee compliance with financial regulations
  • Carry out analysis of financial data to recognize trends, anomalies, or areas that need improvement
  • Collaborate with Accounting, IT, and Finance teams to ensure seamless interaction between financial and other business systems
  • Manage cross-functional teams to deliver special projects related to financial systems and procedures within the stipulated time and budget
  • Take initiative in identifying and addressing issues and challenges related to financial systems
  • Regularly present updates, results, and insights related to projects to the management team
  • Ensure effective use of Accounting Software Systems for smooth operations
  • Implement process improvements and adjustments in line with the company's policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate proven project management skills in overseeing process improvement projects

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting managerial or supervisory role
  • Proficiency in multiple Accounting Software Systems
  • Demonstrated experience in process implementation within an accounting context
  • Proven expertise in Software Implementations, with a focus on accounting systems
  • Capability to automate processes to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in developing and enforcing accounting policies & procedures
  • Proven ability to make necessary process adjustments in response to changing business needs
  • Track record of driving process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting operations
  • Experience in managing process improvement projects within the accounting department
  • Demonstrated skills in project management, with evidence of successfully completed accounting projects
