Job Description:

We’re looking for an amazing Accounting Manager with specialized experience in the Latin American market to join our HQ team. You are super organized, proactive, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced company. You will be responsible for the full accounting global scope, with a specific focus on our LATAM subsidiaries, with a mission to improve tools, ensure compliance, and elevate the quality of accounting processes. You will report directly to the Head of Accounting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and ensure all accounting operations for the group's entities, with direct oversight of flows and compliance in Latin American markets
  • Review and close monthly and annual accounts, participating in the estimation of provisions (deferred revenue, depreciation) ensuring adherence to both local standards and group reporting policies
  • Implement new accounting processes and secure flows to scale our operations efficiently across the Atlantic
  • Develop internal controls and assist with external and internal audits, acting as the main point of contact for local LATAM compliance matters
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects such as the development of the Navision ERP and the optimization of financial tools

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Business School or University)
  • Professional accounting certification (CPA / Contador Público). Preference for certified in Colombia (Tarjeta Profesional) or Mexico (Cédula Profesional / CPC)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Big Four company
  • At least 1 year of experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor
  • Proven experience managing or auditing accounting operations specifically in Latin America, with deep knowledge of local regulations and statutory requirements in the region
  • Fluent in English (professional working proficiency)
  • Native/bilingual Spanish speaker
  • Strong ownership, meticulous, and can handle multiple topics with competing deadlines
  • Familiar with Excel. Knowledge of Navision (Microsoft Dynamics) or similar ERPs is a big plus
  • Strong people management skills and a collaborative mindset
