Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager III to join our team in Seattle, WA. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing accounts payable processes and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and manage accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze financial data and support reporting activities
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain departments to maintain accuracy in financial transactions
  • Monitor and manage fixed asset accounting processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies
  • Work cross-functionally with various departments to streamline accounting practices and improve efficiency
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to align with organizational goals
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership regarding financial performance and operations
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in accounting functions
  • Support project management initiatives related to accounting and finance systems

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting or related fields
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and its advanced functionalities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams and across functions
  • Experience with procurement, supply chain logistics, and fixed assets
  • CPA certification is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and PMP certification is a plus
