Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for general cost accounting transactions and activity
  • Support the month-end close, ensuring accurate inventory reconciliations and manufacturing-related accruals
  • Conduct gross margin analysis and provide key insights into cost drivers and fluctuations to company leadership
  • Perform comprehensive flux analysis across inventory, COGS, and overall production activity
  • Review and validate Bills of Materials to ensure accurate and reliable product costing
  • Operate as a trusted partner with key personnel – Operations, Production, Supply Chain, etc. to ensure accurate inventory
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory tracking

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of cost accounting or inventory accounting experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a strong understanding of transactional accounting and standard costing systems
