Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/ Controller great profitable manufacturing facility in Decatur, Illinois. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth within Plant Controllership and global reach in accounting opportunity. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in accounting, compliance, and leadership, while driving process standardization and internal controls.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the financial close process for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards
Lead budgeting activities and assist in consolidating financial plans for the facility
Supervise a team of accounting professionals
Assist with internal control and audit
Interact globally and cross functionally

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA certification preferred
7 years of accounting experience with manufacturing accounting experience
Supervisory experience
Experience with ERP systems, and implementation
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on process improvement and internal controls
Effective communication and leadership abilities to collaborate across teams and drive results
