Job Description:

This hybrid position is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and offers an exciting opportunity to oversee key financial operations and ensure compliance with established accounting standards. The successful candidate will report directly to the Controller and contribute to the efficient management of our accounting functions.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise and manage core accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and auditing processes
Ensure accurate and timely execution of billing functions while maintaining detailed financial records
Utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to streamline and integrate key business processes
Monitor customer accounts to ensure accuracy and address discrepancies effectively
Process customer credit applications with attention to detail and efficiency
Develop, implement, and enforce accounting policies and procedures to maintain compliance with financial standards
Respond to customer inquiries in a meticulous and timely manner
Conduct periodic audits to verify the accuracy and reliability of financial data

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP platforms
Demonstrated expertise in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Solid understanding of auditing practices and procedures
Experience managing billing functions in a corporate environment
Ability to effectively handle multiple accounting tasks and responsibilities
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems for financial management
