We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager / Client Services Manager to take full ownership of a dedicated portfolio of 80–100+ business and individual clients. This role operates as an “accounting firm within an accounting firm” and requires strong leadership, technical accounting and tax expertise, exceptional client service, and the ability to mentor and oversee bookkeeping staff. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, client‑focused, and comfortable managing both people and processes while maintaining the highest professional standards.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining meaningful monthly communication and documenting interactions
Review monthly financial statements promptly to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
Provide ongoing consulting, accounting guidance, and proactive tax planning based on client needs
Monitor client profitability monthly and collaborate with firm leadership on fee adjustments
Visit client locations annually to strengthen relationships and understand operations
Manage preparation and review of business and individual tax returns for assigned clients
