Job Description:

We are seeking a results-oriented Accounting Lead to lead the general ledger and tax functions within our finance organization. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial results while maintaining compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company accounting policies. This role will be critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting and strengthening the integrity of our accounting processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate the management of general ledger processes to support the timely and accurate recording of financial results
  • Provide technical expertise and support the team across accounting, tax, cost accounting, supply chain analysis, and inventory management
  • Manage team performance and ensure accountability for the consistent application of appropriate accounting practices
  • Lead the Inventory Accounting process for Finished Goods, along with the Supply Chain Finance Analyst
  • Work in collaboration with Operations (OBU) to investigate inventory variances at owned and bailment warehouses, and presents adjustments for approval to management
  • Work with Supply Chain Finance Analyst to budget and monitor logistics, handling and warehousing costs

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in general ledger management
  • Strong technical knowledge of Accounting, Tax US regulations, Accounting Systems, Microsoft office suite
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving and communication skills
  • Technical accounting expertise, strong leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement in financial processes and systems
