Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or equivalent
3-4 years accounting experience in a tax environment, preferably public
CPA certification, or evidence of working towards certification
Working knowledge of small business tax compliance

Job Responsibility

Preparing intermediate Federal and State income tax returns including Forms 1120, 5472, 1040/1040NR, 2555, 1116, 8938, FBAR (FinCEN Form 114), etc.
Supporting a team-based approach in preparation of more complex returns, including Forms 5471, 8865 and 8858
Maintaining current knowledge of U.S. tax laws
monitoring the effect of proposed and enacted changes to these laws on foreign earned income
Replying to inquiries from various tax authorities
Assisting with development of tax planning

Working a minimum of 1 day per week to cover U.S. hours (N. America) from 12.30pm to 8.30pm or 1.00pm to 9.00pm with half an hour break

Researching new Marketing avenues for Small Ticket Items
Dealing with incoming enquires from calls/e-mails/leads and trial downloads
