Job opening - Accounting & Finance Manager in Petaling Jaya | Randstad

Job Responsibility

  • Manage daily accounting documents, receipts, and payment transactions for the Malaysia entity
  • Monitor general ledger activities to ensure absolute accuracy and completeness of all records
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes in strict compliance with local GAAPs and group requirements
  • Provide detailed variance analysis, monthly financial reviews, and insightful business commentaries to management
  • Coordinate internal and external audit processes, ensuring swift resolution of any findings
  • Verify and approve daily operational transactions, including fund transfers, supplier payments, and expense claims
  • Oversee regional working capital and continuously monitor cash flow forecasts
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecast cycles for the assigned regions, tracking actual performance against targets
  • Ensure full compliance with corporate income tax, withholding tax, and indirect taxes (SST/GST/VAT) across the regional scope
  • Review comprehensive transfer pricing documentation and prepare specialized tax reporting packages for the group
  • Maintain and strengthen internal control frameworks to ensure data integrity and alignment with group policies
  • Execute ad-hoc financial projects and strategic tasks as requested

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline
  • CA, ACCA, or CPA qualification is a plus
  • Strong command of IFRS and local GAAPs across Southeast Asia and the Middle East
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing remote teams and working with cross-cultural stakeholders
