We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Data Entry Clerk to support accounting and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering financial data, maintaining records, reviewing statements, and assisting with vendor communications. This role requires strong data entry accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Job Responsibility:
Perform data entry of invoices, refunds, and fixed asset records into the accounting system
Maintain and organize payment documentation and accounting files
Review and research vendor statements and account discrepancies
Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account information
Assist with annual fixed asset reporting review and documentation
Support records management activities, including organizing and boxing files for storage
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data entered into the accounting database
Maintain confidentiality and follow organizational record-keeping procedures
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in data entry, accounting support, or administrative roles
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage and organize large volumes of documentation
Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice to have:
Experience working with accounting databases or financial systems
Experience supporting accounts payable or finance departments
