Job Description

Support the integrity of the factory’s financial structure and providing accuracy in the reporting and analysis of operating costs. Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, Nestlé accounting standards, and company policies and standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain purchase orders in SAP
  • Answer all AP related questions, and work with departments including Buying, Engineering and Maintenance to resolve AP issues
  • Perform goods receipts against purchase orders to initiate invoice payments
  • Clear all workflow blocked and parked invoices
  • Provide assistance to other departments to clear blocked invoices
  • Set up vendors in SAP and update vendor information as needed
  • Maintain AMEX Purchasing Card files, send out P-card initial training materials, and perform duties as AMEX administrator
  • Perform month-end close duties – review previous accruals, and set up current month accrual entries
  • Prepare monthly reports to include but not limited to energy report, waste report, management letter & departmental cost reports

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED plus 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment
  • OR An Associate's Degree in finance, accounting, or business plus at least 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment
