Job Description:

Contract role for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Blair, Nebraska. This position contributes to financial and administrative operations in a fast-paced environment with a supportive workplace culture that values teamwork, growth, and exceptional customer service.

Job Responsibility:

Professionally and efficiently answer phones, field a busy utilities line, and direct calls to appropriate departments
Greet and welcome customers with warmth and professionalism
Coordinate customer accounts and scheduling services
Scan documents, post payments, and review invoice entries
Manage scheduling, emails, and records in Outlook/Teams
Oversee payment processing across multiple methods
Handle high-volume data entry for checks, payments, and vouchers
Assist essential tasks and provide vital support to teammates

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in customer service roles
Proficiency in processing incoming payments and managing financial transactions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle high-volume data entry with accuracy and efficiency
Familiarity with scheduling and coordinating services
Competence in posting payments and reviewing financial records
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic fast-paced environment
