Job Description:

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to essential accounting and administrative tasks. The role involves managing data entry, processing invoices, and supporting shipping and receiving operations.

Job Responsibility:

Manage shipping and receiving tasks, including scanning and organizing package slips
Accurately enter financial data into QuickBooks and other accounting systems
Assist with the arrangement and maintenance of large organizational documents
Process invoices and ensure timely billing and payments
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions by tracking and reconciling transactions
Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Utilize tools like Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and SAP to maintain and analyze financial data
Communicate effectively with team members to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes
Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and documentation

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes
Proficiency in data entry and financial record-keeping
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software such as SAP or Oracle
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Ability to handle invoice processing and account reconciliations with accuracy
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
