Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our client's team in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a commitment to excellence.

Job Responsibility:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain organized financial records through effective bookkeeping practices
Utilize QuickBooks to manage and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy in data entry
Prepare and process invoices, including verifying and posting entries
Handle journal entries and ensure proper documentation for financial activities
Assist in compiling financial reports and statements as needed
Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies regarding financial data
Support the team in administrative tasks related to accounting operations

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles
Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and its functionalities
Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
Ability to process invoices and handle journal entries effectively
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Background in services requiring attention to detail is preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
