We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii on a contract basis. In this role, you will support financial operations by performing reconciliations, managing data entry tasks, and ensuring the accuracy of payroll and credit card statements. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong attention to detail and a background in accounting or clerical work.
Job Responsibility:
Reconcile credit card statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
Verify and process payroll hours and timesheets
Perform clerical tasks such as filing, creating folders, and organizing financial documents
Enter data into accounting systems with precision and efficiency
Support accounts payable processes, including invoice management
Generate reports using accounting software and tools like Microsoft Excel
Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and improve processes
Utilize Sage 100 for accounting tasks and reporting
Maintain organized records to ensure easy access and compliance
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or clerical roles
Proven ability to reconcile credit card statements and bank transactions
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Sage 100
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
Reliable and punctual with a consistent work ethic
Experience in accounts payable and invoice processing
Familiarity with generating reports and maintaining accurate records
Ability to organize and manage documentation effectively
