Job Description:

We are looking for a diligent Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will contribute to essential accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented environment and has strong organizational skills.

Job Responsibility:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency
utilize QuickBooks to manage and record financial data
perform detailed data entry tasks to ensure the integrity of accounting records
handle invoice processing and verification to maintain proper documentation
assist with reconciling accounts to ensure all financial discrepancies are resolved
prepare and maintain accurate financial reports as needed
collaborate with team members to support overall accounting operations
ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
respond to inquiries related to financial transactions and documentation
monitor and update financial records to reflect current transactions

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks
strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
familiarity with invoice processing and related procedures
solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
excellent organizational and time-management abilities
effective communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders
ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
