We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth reconciliation processes. Job Responsibility:
Perform thorough reconciliation of bank statements to ensure financial accuracy
Handle credit card statement reconciliation and post receipts efficiently
Utilize Sage 100 software to maintain and process financial data
Enter accurate data related to accounts payable and other financial transactions
Process invoices in a timely and organized manner
Generate financial reports to support decision-making and compliance needs
Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify discrepancies and resolve them
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency
Maintain detailed and organized records to support financial operations
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
Proficiency in reconciling credit card statements and managing accounts payable
Strong skills in data entry and invoice processing
Familiarity with accounting software, such as Sage 100
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for report generation
Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Reliable and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Experience with bank reconciliations and maintaining financial records
