We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Odessa, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial tasks such as tracking expenses, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate records. Job Responsibility:
Monitor and track project-related expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting
Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable activities
Support billing operations by preparing and distributing invoices in a timely manner
Utilize Microsoft Excel, OneNote, and SharePoint for efficient data management and collaboration
Perform data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records
Assist in project management activities by organizing and coordinating financial documentation
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed
Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all financial processes
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions
Experience with Microsoft OneNote and SharePoint for data organization and sharing
Strong skills in accounts payable and receivable processes
Ability to accurately process invoices and perform data entry
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Positive attitude and self-motivation to work independently and collaboratively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in financial tasks
