Job Description:

Randstad Canada is currently seeking experienced Accounting Clerks for full-time permanent positions. The successful candidate will have experience performing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks. As an Accounting Clerk you will support the accounting department by maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with various financial reports.

Job Responsibility:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
Prepare and deposit bank transaction
Receive, verify, and process a high volume of vendor invoices with accuracy
Reviewing and processing employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies
Assist with month-end and year- end closing procedures
Post and apply customer payments (cheques, EFTs, credit card) to outstanding invoices

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Post secondary education or a diploma in Accounting
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
