We are looking for a PART TIME Accounting Clerk with strong attention to detail to join our team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. You will play a key part in managing essential accounting functions and ensuring accurate financial records. Job Responsibility:
Accurately process invoices and handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks
Perform precise data entry to maintain updated and organized financial records
Assist with preparing electronic documents and files for audits and reporting purposes
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely deposits and reconciliations
Support office operations two days a week to bridge gaps and facilitate workflow
Utilize QuickBooks Online for payroll-related functions and Enterprise Desktop for accounting tasks
Apply Excel and other software tools, such as Canva and Adobe Pro, to enhance productivity
Adapt to increasing workload as you become more familiar with the role and responsibilities
Maintain efficiency while adhering to deadlines
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Enterprise Desktop systems
Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills to manage electronic documents and prepare for audits
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
Availability to work in-office two days a week as required
