Job Description:

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks, including accounts payable, payroll processing, and reporting. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to contribute to administrative and operational functions.

Job Responsibility:

Process invoices and ensure timely posting for accounts payable
issue checks to vendors and maintain accurate filing systems
handle bi-weekly payroll processing for hourly employees
prepare weekly progress reports and store summaries using Excel
assist the Vice President with marketing-related tasks and e-commerce order processing
schedule and manage store pick-up days, including monthly closures
manage tenant billing for commercial properties, including rent and fees
reconcile bank accounts and create journal entries for prepaid rent and management fees
generate various performance and compensation reports, such as sales payroll and freight analysis
monitor inventory accounts, credit memos, and voids to ensure accuracy.

Requirements:

Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation
strong skills in invoice processing and data entry
experience with payroll systems and reporting
advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle
ability to generate detailed reports and analyze financial data
excellent organizational and time management skills
strong understanding of company policies and procedures
ability to monitor and ensure accuracy in inventory and administrative tasks.
