Job Description:

Accounting Clerk role in Portland, Oregon, requiring strong organizational skills, customer service experience, and proficiency in accounting. The position emphasizes maintaining accurate financial records, collaborating with team members, and supporting operational efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Process and verify financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation
Collaborate with team members to coordinate schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Assist in managing calendars and scheduling meetings to support operational efficiency
Prepare and distribute financial reports to support decision-making processes
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all accounting activities
Support the reconciliation of accounts to maintain accurate financial records
Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation as requested
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to their implementation

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role
Proficiency in customer service, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
Demonstrated experience in coordinating schedules and managing calendars
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling financial records
Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members as needed
Familiarity with accounting software and basic financial principles
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information
