We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide administrative support while focusing on accounts payable responsibilities to ensure smooth financial and operational processes. Job Responsibility:
Welcome visitors, provide necessary information, and direct them to the appropriate departments
Manage incoming calls, transfer them efficiently, and place outgoing calls as needed
Support accounts payable operations by processing invoices and maintaining accurate filing systems
Enter month-end journal entries into the accounting system with precision
Organize and distribute daily mail, both incoming and outgoing
Assist various departments, including Accounting, Customer Service, Human Resources, and Production, with administrative tasks
Monitor office supply levels and coordinate orders to maintain inventory
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and communication across departments
Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative or accounts payable role is essential
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Proficiency in office management systems and familiarity with office equipment
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
High attention to detail and ability to exercise discretion in handling sensitive information
Knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and invoice processing
Competency in data entry and maintaining accurate records
