We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Clerk to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role combines light accounting duties with heavy administrative responsibilities, supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. You’ll work closely with vendors, customers, and internal teams to keep processes running smoothly.
Job Responsibility:
Code vendor invoices and process payments in QuickBooks
Create sales orders and invoices in QuickBooks
Apply cash to outstanding customer invoices
Monitor cash collections and follow up as needed
Work directly with vendors to resolve discrepancies or questions
Perform heavy administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document management
Requirements:
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Strong communication skills for vendor and internal interactions
