Job Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a full-time, onsite opportunity in Tulsa. This is a 90-day temporary role with a strong potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

Job Responsibility:

Review and verify invoices and check requests
Sort and process invoices using 2-way and 3-way matching
Assist with expense report and payment processing
Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are current
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and related issues
Communicate with vendors and respond to inquiries
Assist with month-end closing activities
Provide supporting documentation for audits
Perform various data entry and administrative accounting tasks

Requirements:

Previous accounting or accounts payable experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in data entry and basic accounting software
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
