This is a unique "contract-to-permanent" opportunity, allowing you to showcase your skills during a 90-day introductory period before transitioning into a long-term permanent role with the company. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys a mix of high-volume data entry and complex, manual problem-solving.
Job Responsibility:
Complex Invoicing: Handling 30–40 highly customized invoices per day, requiring precise matching of purchases with sales to maintain inventory integrity
Full-Cycle AP/AR: Posting payables and receivables, managing billing cycles, and ensuring accurate data entry into the accounting system
Inventory Coordination: Working closely with the sales and distribution teams to ensure complex wholesale orders are billed correctly
Ad-Hoc Support: Providing administrative assistance to the senior accountant and reporting directly to the Finance Manager
Requirements:
1–2 years of hands-on experience in an AP/AR or General Accounting role
Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 is highly preferred
Must be comfortable using VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
Eager to learn, asks questions, and has a high degree of attention to detail
Consistent on-site attendance is essential
