Accounting Clerk

• Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision and supporting documentation
• Collaborate with various departments to address and resolve accounting-related inquiries and issues
• Reconcile accounts and perform ad hoc analyses in coordination with the accounting manager
• Enter and update invoices in the company's accounting system
• Maintain vendor statements to confirm receipt of invoices and payments
• Communicate with vendors and customers to ensure accurate account management
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and internal accounting standards
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation as needed
• Support the accounting team in maintaining accurate records and efficient workflows
• Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline processes and improve accuracy

• An associate degree in accounting or a related field is preferred
• At least two years of accounting experience, with a solid understanding of general ledger accounts and accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Familiarity with accounting system software, such as Yardi, is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to manage accounts payable and receivable processes effectively
• Strong skills in data entry and invoice processing
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
