Job Description:

Detail-oriented Accounting Clerk position on a short-term contract basis to contribute to efficient management of financial data and support accounts receivable tasks

Job Responsibility:

Conduct thorough research and consolidate financial data from various sources into Excel spreadsheets
Perform accurate data entry to maintain up-to-date records
Provide support to accounts receivable processes, including billing and invoicing
Utilize QuickBooks and other financial tools to manage accounting tasks effectively
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of data during system updates
Maintain high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial operations
Assist in organizing and analyzing financial information for reporting purposes
Apply intermediate Excel skills to create, manage, and interpret financial reports
Contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting department by supporting daily operations

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field
Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Intermediate knowledge of Excel, including formulas and data manipulation
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Strong ability to perform accurate data entry and manage large sets of information
Excellent research skills and ability to consolidate data effectively
Positive and detail-oriented attitude, with strong interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
