We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role involves a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, with a focus on reconciliation, data organization, and document management. Job Responsibility

  • Reconcile credit card statements to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
  • Verify payroll data and timesheet hours to maintain precise records
  • Organize and maintain files, including creating folders and ensuring documents are properly categorized
  • Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain accounting records
  • Process invoices and ensure timely handling of accounts payable
  • Generate reports to support financial tracking and decision-making
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances
  • Utilize Sage 100 and Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks and data management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounting activities

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting or a related role
  • Proficiency in reconciling credit card statements and bank accounts
  • Strong ability to work with numbers and maintain accuracy
  • Familiarity with accounts payable and invoice processing
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and organization
