We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role involves a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, with a focus on reconciliation, data organization, and document management. Job Responsibility:
Reconcile credit card statements to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
Verify payroll data and timesheet hours to maintain precise records
Organize and maintain files, including creating folders and ensuring documents are properly categorized
Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain accounting records
Process invoices and ensure timely handling of accounts payable
Generate reports to support financial tracking and decision-making
Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances
Utilize Sage 100 and Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks and data management
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounting activities
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in accounting or a related role
Proficiency in reconciling credit card statements and bank accounts
Strong ability to work with numbers and maintain accuracy
Familiarity with accounts payable and invoice processing
Skilled in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and organization
Experience with Sage 100 or similar accounting software
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
