Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a Contract basis in Framingham, Massachusetts. This role involves managing essential financial operations, including payment processing, data entry, and customer interactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Process payments and ensure timely and accurate handling of financial transactions
provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving payment-related issues
reconcile cash balances and prepare reports to maintain accurate financial records
input and update data into accounting systems with precision and efficiency
assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
review and process invoices for payment approval
utilize QuickBooks to manage and track financial activities effectively
collaborate with team members to support daily financial operations and improve processes
maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
familiarity with invoice processing and financial documentation
excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
