Job Description:

Amazing opportunity for an Accounting Clerk. We are seeking an Accounting Clerk who is accomplished, creative problem solver and proactive for this role. The job responsibilities include preparing statements and reports, posting financial information, reconciling discrepancies, assisting in budgetary control, and participating in special projects. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, proven experience in a similar role, and strong proficiency with accounting principles and software.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources
Post financial information to journals, registers, and ledgers, manually or by electronic equipment
Reconcile discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts
prepare correction documents as required
Assist in budgetary control by monitoring budgets and originating or verifying adjustments and transfers
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
