We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk to join our Branded division in Fullerton. This is a fully onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity offering long-term growth potential within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The Accounting Clerk will support daily accounting operations, order processing, billing activities, and various administrative and reporting functions.
Job Responsibility:
Enter and receive purchase orders from various customers
Coordinate purchase orders with suppliers and third-party freight carriers
Confirm deliveries and process invoices to customers
Maintain weekly billing logs and sales boards
Assist with sales reporting and credit/aging reports
Review Accounts Receivable activity as needed
Review Accounts Payable activity as needed
Provide general accounting and administrative support to the department
Assist with special projects and miscellaneous assignments as assigned
Requirements:
1–2 years of related accounting, billing, order processing, or administrative experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working with customers, vendors, and internal teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet software
Experience with accounting and database software preferred
Ability to interpret instructions, reports, and procedure manuals
Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills
Basic math and accounting knowledge including percentages, discounts, and calculations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
