Accounting Clerk

• Maintain and update financial, statistical, and accounting records with precision
• Perform data entry and prepare financial reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
• Verify and reconcile teller sheets from multiple locations
• Handle daily bank deposits by totaling checks and preparing deposit slips
• Review and record employee expenses into the general ledger
• Process accounts payable checks in a timely manner
• Post journal entries to the general ledger as needed
• Assist with balancing and reconciliation tasks for the organization

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Prior experience in data entry and general accounting functions
• Familiarity with processing invoices and general ledger entries
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook for communication and task management

A background in the financial services industry is preferred but not required
