A well-established organization in Los Angeles is hiring an Accounting Clerk to support daily accounting and administrative functions within a fast-paced finance team. This is a 100% onsite role and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structured work, accuracy-driven tasks, and supporting multiple finance processes. This position supports a high-volume environment and will assist with financial data entry, invoice management, payment processing support, reconciliations, and document control.
Job Responsibility:
Enter, update, and maintain financial information in internal systems
Support invoice processing including coding, routing for approval, and documentation tracking
Assist with payment posting and basic accounts receivable support
Help with account reconciliations and research discrepancies as needed
Maintain accurate records for reporting and compliance (electronic and paper filing)
Support month-end close preparation tasks
Communicate with internal teams and external vendors regarding invoice/payment questions
Provide general administrative support to the finance and accounting team
Requirements:
1+ year of experience supporting accounting, AP/AR, or finance operations preferred
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Comfortable in a high-volume, process-driven environment
Basic understanding of invoices, payments, and accounting fundamentals
Strong Excel skills (sorting/filtering, data entry, basic formulas)
Professional communication skills and strong organizational habits
