We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a local company. This role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and supporting administrative tasks as needed. Job Responsibility:
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
Reconcile credit card statements and bank accounts to ensure financial records are up-to-date
Review and verify backup documentation for accuracy and completeness to support job closures
Enter and post daily transactions into the accounting system with precision
Handle expense report reviews and ensure compliance with company policies
Manage a high volume of invoices weekly, maintaining attention to detail
Support administrative tasks and special projects as assigned
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless financial operations
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel
Familiarity with accounting software systems, with a willingness to learn new tools
Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred, or at least three years of relevant experience
Strong internet connection and a dedicated workspace for remote work
Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes
Skilled in data entry and invoice processing
Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software
