Accounting Clerk

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes accurately and efficiently
• Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update financial records
• Perform detailed data entry tasks to ensure the accuracy of financial information
• Process invoices and verify documentation to support payment activities
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions
• Prepare and maintain financial reports as required by the organization
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with organizational accounting policies
• Communicate effectively with vendors and stakeholders to address payment issues
• Assist in general administrative tasks related to the accounting department
• Support audits and provide necessary documentation when requested

• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
• Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Familiarity with invoice processing and financial documentation
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience in a non-profit setting is a plus, but not required
