Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in records, and supporting key accounting operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy
Input and manage data for approximately 300-400 invoices per month
Set up and maintain vendor records to ensure smooth operations
Assist with month-end closing tasks, including grant allocations and financial reconciliations
Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records
Utilize Blackbaud software to handle accounting processes efficiently
Collaborate with team members to complete other assigned duties as needed
Ensure compliance with organizational accounting standards and practices

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Strong proficiency in data entry and invoice processing
Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Blackbaud and QuickBooks
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently
Adept at managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
Strong communication skills and openness to constructive feedback
A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving
