Job Responsibility:
Process and record payments related to tax collections, ensuring accuracy and compliance with government regulations
Manage customer payments through multiple methods, including cash, checks, and credit/debit transactions
Collaborate with team members to address customer inquiries and ensure smooth operations
Perform accurate data entry for financial records and maintain organized documentation
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks as needed
Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to manage invoices and financial reports
Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and concerns promptly
Support general office functions, including filing, organizing, and maintaining records
Requirements:
Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support is preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial transactions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with QuickBooks
Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing is beneficial
