We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial tasks, ensuring accurate reconciliations, and supporting administrative operations. Job Responsibility:
Prepare financial reports, including tracking expenses and reconciling accounts across multiple entities
Process accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate payment logs for specified companies
Monitor and reconcile credit card transactions, including resolving disputes and updating relevant spreadsheets
Review bank activities for wire transfers and specific payment transactions, ensuring proper documentation
Upload sales data to external tax service providers and prepare sales tax files for Canadian operations
Reconcile accounts, track chargebacks, and prepare quarterly commission reports
Maintain and update records for tax books and financial documentation on a yearly basis
Manage office equipment needs and ensure the availability of essential supplies
Organize registered mailings, maintain logs, and support general administrative duties
Coordinate the bank run schedule and assist with record retention database management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred but not mandatory
Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, and related tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset
Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing
