Accounting Clerk

• Maintain organized filing systems and ensure documents are accurately stored
• perform light reconciliations to support accounting processes
• assist with copying and printing tasks as needed
• tag fixed assets across various buildings and ensure proper documentation
• provide support in reviewing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• collaborate on inventory tasks, including label printing and tracking
• utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and reporting purposes
• contribute to general administrative duties as required to support the team

• Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• familiarity with filing and document management practices
• proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• ability to perform light reconciliations and basic accounting tasks
• understanding of inventory management and fixed asset tagging
• strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• effective communication and teamwork abilities
• prior experience in higher education or similar industries is a plus
