We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join a collaborative team in California. Job Responsibility
Manage customer order intake with accuracy, courtesy, and timely follow-up
Keep both paper and electronic records well organized to support efficient office operations
Provide day-to-day clerical and administrative assistance across multiple business functions
Support accounting activities by helping with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice handling, and related record updates
Enter information into business systems accurately and prepare routine documents and reports as needed
Assist colleagues with shifting operational priorities and other general office tasks throughout the day
Use Sage and similar accounting tools to process order entry and maintain financial or transactional data
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to stay organized while handling multiple assignments in a small office environment
Strong accuracy and attention to detail when performing data entry, document management, and accounting support work
Clear verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented approach to internal and external interactions
Ability to adapt quickly, learn new processes, and follow tasks through to completion
Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, or general clerical accounting functions
Nice to have
Previous experience in administrative support, office coordination, reception, or a related role is preferred
Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, PowerPoint, or other business software is helpful
