We’re currently hiring an Accounting Clerk on a contract basis for one of our clients. They’re looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling day-to-day accounting tasks in a structured environment. The role focuses on supporting core accounting functions and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Job Responsibility
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile bank statements and account balances
Enter and maintain accurate financial records in accounting software
Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation
Prepare reports and assist with general accounting tasks as needed
Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing and payment questions
Provide additional administrative support when necessary
Requirements
2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience preferred
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
