Robert Half contracts finance and accounting team is seeking an entry level Accounting Clerk/Strong Administrative Assistant to join a well-known company in the Rancho Cordova area. This company is nationwide and has a great work culture and reputation in the market. The ideal candidate would have 1+ year experience working in an accounting department. This is a full-time position that is contract to hire and would be 100% onsite. This position is looking for someone who has great communication, works efficiently by themselves as with others, and has at least 1-2 years working in an office setting.
Job Responsibility:
Invoicing for AP
Coding invoices
Filing reports
High volume data entry
Reconciling reports
Working out of excel (basic knowledge)
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience supporting an accounting department or performing closely related office duties
Prior exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice handling, or similar transactional accounting work
Strong data entry skills with the ability to manage high-volume tasks accurately
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic spreadsheet updates and data organization
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks is preferred
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with coworkers
Clear written and verbal communication skills in a detail-oriented office setting
Availability to work onsite in California in a permanent contract role
