Our client in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a temporary Accounting Clerk to support their small accounting office during a leave coverage assignment through July. This is a fully onsite opportunity offering a steady Monday–Friday schedule and the chance to work closely with the Finance Manager in a collaborative office environment.
Job Responsibility:
Process invoicing and assist with basic accounting functions
Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial records
Generate and update reports in Excel
Support daily administrative and office tasks within the accounting department
Assist the Finance Manager with general accounting support as needed
Requirements:
Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or office support experience preferred
Strong data entry and organizational skills
Comfortable working in Microsoft Excel and other office systems
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently in a small office environment
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and update reports
Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Odoo, Flightline, or related systems
