Accounting Clerk / Bookkeeper – Georgetown, MA. Our client, a growing organization within the construction and professional services industry, is seeking an Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper to support day‑to‑day accounting operations. This role focuses on transactional accounting, record maintenance, and assisting with close and reporting activities in a fast‑paced, onsite environment.
Job Responsibility
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Enter and reconcile invoices, payments, deposits, and journal entries
Support month‑end close and general ledger maintenance
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Assist with pricing, sales, and margin tracking
Provide general accounting support to the accounting manager
Requirements
3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Strong QuickBooks experience
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
