Job Responsibility:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payments ...
Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure all financial data is current and precise
Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy to ensure the integrity of the general ledger
Reviewing and processing employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies
Assist and support senior finance & accounting staff with month-end and year- end closing duties

Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of prior experience as an Accounting Clerk or a similar role
Post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is an asset
Post secondary education or a diploma in Accounting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
Proven track record of accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
Knowledge of local tax regulations and accounting standards applicable in Manitoba.
